Knowledge of first aid among primary and secondary school teachers in the Liberec and Ústí Region

Title: Knowledge of first aid among primary and secondary school teachers in the Liberec and Ústí Region. Objectives: The main aim of this study is to determine the level of knowledge in the field of first aid among primary and secondary school teachers in Liberec and Ústí nad Labem regions. The sub-tasks of the work are to find out whether and in what form the respondents are most often trained, and which injuries or accidents are most common in primary and secondary schools. Methods: A questionnaire survey was used to collect data, with a total of 30 questions. The non-standardized questionnaire was inspired by the 2022 Tyler questionnaire. The questionnaire survey was distributed via email. The sample consisted of teachers from primary and secondary schools irrespective of the subject taught. A total of 378 teachers participated, of which 302 were female and 76 were male. There were 213 teachers from the Liberec region and 165 from the Ústí region. 247 teachers teaching in primary schools and 131 from secondary schools sent in their responses. The data were converted into Microsoft Excel and processed using the graphical method. The diploma thesis on the topic of Well-being of university teachers in the working environment from the point of view of social relations and communication deals with occupational well- being in the field of social relations and communication. The theoretical part of the work defines the concept of well-being, explains its effect on health, connections with social relations and communication, and provides an overview of the specifics of occupational well-being in the university environment. The practical part is devoted to the research, which was aimed at university teachers of the Department of Multimedia at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the University of Economics in Prague. Its aim was to find out what the occupational well- being of these teachers is in terms of social relations and communication in the workplace. This is because it is a specific department where pedagogic and commercial activities are linked, so it was expected that this phenomenon would be reflected in workplace relationships and the attitude towards them, as well as occupational well-being. This bachelor's thesis deals with the burnout syndrom of teachers in kindergarten. The thesis includes theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part observes basic terms and definitions of the work. It defines the conditions that leads to the burnout syndrome and how can we work with it, what are the consequences and what can we do to prevent the syndrome from happening. The practical part discovers how the syndrome affected the life of the teachers and how often did they came across that issue. It follows particular cases of the burnout syndome and detects why the syndome had happend and how did the interviewee deal with it. The research was assigned as a questionare to teachers in kindergarten.
The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on teaching techniques and strategies

The impact of the Covid 19 epidemic on instructional methods and practices is examined in the diploma thesis. The thesis seeks to ascertain Covid 19's effect on modifications to learning methods and strategies. The objective is to identify the changes that will take place. Identifying obstacles and figuring out whether teachers are interested in changing their teaching methods. Theoretical material includes searches of relevant literature and other sources. Primarily findings of the Czech School Inspection; judgments and suggestions from the Ministry of Education and Sports are also included. The results of the questionnaire survey are the main topic of the practical section. The quantitative study was conducted using a questionnaire among instructors. (specifically, 101 respondents). The output is recommendations on how to incorporate changes into teaching, such as through subsidies, as well as recommendations on how to employ various teaching apps that do not require financial subsidies. This diploma thesis focuses on research-based teaching and the creation of physics experiments fit for teaching physics at the lower-secondary level of education. The primary goal of this thesis is to suggest certain physics experiments that, while allowing the use of water, also explain the basic behaviour of liquids in physics. Furthermore, it aims to create a worksheet for realised research-based. The outputs of this are selected experiments and a worksheet of research-based teaching.

Subsequently, the work deals with reform pedagogy and experimental schools in the 1920´s, from which the Experimental Working School in Holešovice and the Eduard Štorch Children's Farm is analyzed. The practical part contains qualitative research and deals with two research questions, to which it seeks answers in research.

The topic of the diploma thesis is the image of the teaching assistant profession in the system of inclusive education in the Czech Republic, focusing on selected issues, overview according to available literature, surveys, etc. In the empirical part . As a result, a comprehensive picture of the teaching assistant profession will emerge at the end, which will have the ambition to serve, among other things, as a manual for the profession, able to provide a comprehensive idea and concrete answers regarding the work of a teaching assistant. The teaching assistant is currently undoubtedly an integral part of teaching. The aim of the work will be to bring a comprehensive overview of the profession to all possible future assistants, students, parents and each of the lay public with an interest in education and schooling as a whole.
